St Bride’s St Vincent De Paul Conference belongs to the world wide Vincentian Family who seek to care for the needs of the poor in the spirit of St Vincent De Paul. St Bride’s parochial conference is twinned with an SVDP conference in India.

As well as taking up a weekly recessional collection after each mass on Sunday for the work of the conference, seeing clients and visiting homes they also organise an annual dinner for Senior Citizens in the village. Some members of the conference also work in the Ozanam Club, a social club funded by the SVDP for those with special needs, as well as this until recently others regularly visited the residents of Kirklands’ Hospital.
